Rachel Winters has a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Dayton and a BA in Psychology from Penn State University. She has been the Evaluation Coordinator for the University of Pittsburgh, School of Social Work’s Child Welfare Education and Research Programs since 2009. Rachel has been working in research for well over 10 years, holding positions as a psychiatric specialty counselor at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic and project coordinator in the School of Pharmacy. Rachel also has worked in direct practice with severely mentally ill adults and has conducted intelligence and personality testing with children and adults. In her current position, Rachel is knowledgeable about Qualtrics, the university’s preferred online survey mechanism, and has conducted focus groups, interviews, and other data collection activities. She has worked on numerous research and evaluation projects within the Child Welfare Education and Research Programs including: organizational effectiveness; developmental and social-emotional screening of young children involved in child welfare; Title IV-E child welfare demonstration project; and program evaluation for the Title IV-E undergraduate and graduate programs.
