As the Director of Career Services & Continuing Education for the VanKirk Career Center, Michele provides leadership in the design and evaluation of clinical training and education, and the strategic planning and implementation of professional development programs and activities. Michele is also an adjunct professor with the School of Social Work and has taught courses in the bachelor and master’s programs.
Michele is a licensed social worker with a PhD in Community Engagement, from Point Park University. Michele earned her MSW and BS in Business Administration and Psychology, from the University of Pittsburgh. Michele’s social work career includes extensive direct practice experience, across various levels of psychiatric treatment, and extends to care management, program management, and clinical engagement roles in behavioral health and physical health managed care organizations.
