If you want to advance your career in social work or enter the field, Pitt School of Social Work’s new Part-Time Online MSW program could be what you’re looking for. Launching in the fall of 2025, our program will equip you with the skills to help address complex social issues impacting people in your community through flexible coursework that you can complete on your own schedule.
Features of our Online MSW program include:
- In-state tuition rate for all online students, regardless of residency
- No GRE required
- 60 credits (students who have earned a BSW in the last 10 years may apply up to 21 transfer credits)
- Direct Practice with Individuals, Families, and Small Groups plus optional certificates in Children, Youth and Families; Integrated Healthcare; and Mental Health
- Anti-racist/anti-oppressive curriculum with a school-wide commitment to justice, equity, diversity and inclusion
- Experiential learning with an emphasis on critical thinking and real-world application
- Supportive process for finding your practicum site and opportunities to include employment-based practicum hours
- Career Center for immediate and long-term professional support
