Human Flourishing Symposium scheduled for March 24th

On behalf of the Flourishing Research Collaboratives, I am excited to invite you and your school community to the inaugural Human Flourishing Symposium, a day-long gathering dedicated to exploring and advancing the concept of human flourishing across disciplines.

About the Symposium: Jointly hosted by the Flourishing Research Collaboratives (FRC) in the School of Social Work and The Headwaters Project in Health Sciences and Engineering, this event will bring together leading researchers, community leaders, faculty, students, and stakeholders to discuss how to understand and advance human flourishing. The symposium theme, "Exploring Pathways to Thriving: Shifting from Deficit to Possibility," highlights the transformative potential of reimagining how we address social challenges by moving beyond deficit-focused approaches to embrace strengths-based frameworks that foster growth, resilience, and human flourishing. This symposium invites participants to explore innovative ideas and actionable strategies that advance well-being across disciplines and communities.
