The Flourishing Research Collaboratives (FRC) led by Drs. Moon, Idoko, Eack, Huguley, and Lee have been honored with the Year of Discourse and Dialogue award. The awarded funds will be utilized to support the Human Flourishing Symposium, scheduled for March 24, in partnership with the Headwaters Project team in the Department of Health Sciences and Engineering. The symposium will create a meaningful space for researchers, practitioners, health and human services directors, organizational leaders and community members to engage in dialogue about the concept of human flourishing in diverse communities and explore strategies to promote collective well-being amid adversities and challenges. Additionally, the funds will facilitate the establishment of a virtual repository for the symposium content, ensuring a lasting impact.
