Community discusses roots of antisemitism at YODD event

Rachel Kranson, an assistant professor of religious studies, said she shared her personal experience to illustrate that every American Jew has been impacted by antisemitism at some point in their lives.

Ron Idoko (A&S ’05, GSPIA ’07), CRSP associate director and director of social innovation for the Frederick Honors College, led the discussion on Oct. 29. He said the “Conversations for Change” series, which includes small group sessions to discuss issues raised by the speakers, is designed to allow members of the Pitt community to tackle challenging topics in a supportive environment.
