Instructor: Heidi J. Dalzell, PsyD
Description: Early research has shown that psychedelic medications can help break the trauma cycle experienced by patients with PTSD, including reduction of anxiety and psychological distress. While therapists cannot administer psychedelics, they can support better outcomes and help clients fully integrate their psychedelic sessions. This course will provide an overview of psychedelics, historical and current research, and ethics and provide guidelines for non-directive counseling.
