Faculty member’s work selected for international conference

Mary Beth Rauktis’s symposium, “Contemporary considerations for aging together with companion animals” has been selected as the Social Policy & Practice Divisional Symposium highlight.  Each year the divisional chairs select a symposium to highlight that they feel represents the division. Her presentation is entitled: “She’s relying on me too’: How human and companion animal food needs intersect in low income households of older adults.” The Canadian Association on Gerontology conference will be held in Canada in October.
