BASW students wins fellowship

Sarah Krause will be collaborating with Dr. Engel to expand on the topic of 19th century European immigration to the United States in the Foundations of the Welfare State course. Her contribution will focus on the history of intergenerational assimilation of European immigrants in the United States, and how immigration policies have evolved over time. She hope that this will help students place current immigration patterns, policies, and ideologies in historical context.
