Through research grants, AmeriCorps funds participatory research to engage communities to problem solve and produce more meaningful and impactful research. One of these projects is Associate Professor Mary Ohmer's Research for Equity and Power (REP), a joint project of the Homewood Children’s Village and the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Social Work.
