In an October 16 Op-Ed column in the Post-Gazette, Katie Greeno, SSW's Associate Dean of Research and Brandi Phillips, chief operating officer at Allegheny HealthChoices Inc., report that patients from the former Mayview State Hospital are transitioning well into their new lives.  The article notes that most former patients prefer living in the community versus living in an institutional setting.  Read more in the Post-Gazette.
