BASW Program Director Toya Jones has been named a 2021 Black Educator of the Year award by the State of the Black Learning (SBL). Dr. Jones received the award at a ceremony on August 13th at the SBL Conference. She was recognized for the outstanding work she is doing to positively impact the lives of Black students and contribute to a positive educational climate for Black students in our region.
