James and Noel Browne Endowed Chair, Associate Dean for Research, and Professor of Social Work and Professor of Psychiatry Shaun Eack, along with his Co-PI Carla Mazefsky from the Department of Psychiatry have just received a $2.9 million grant from the National Institutes of Health/National Institute of Child Health and Human Development for their project "Change-Sensitive Measurement of Adult Functional Outcomes in Developmental Disabilities." The purpose of this project is to develop improved measures of community functioning for adults with developmental disabilities that are sensitive to change and can be used in clinical trials designed to improve functional outcome in this population.
