MSW alumna Jamie Piotrowski is a social worker running for a seat on the City of Pittsburgh school board. “The values are service, social justice, dignity and worth of a person, importance of human relationships, integrity, and competence,” Ms. Piotrowski said during a recent phone interview. “Honestly, I think all six of those values very much fit into not just a school board position, but any position that a social worker would take.” Read more in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
