Professor working to help Pittsburgh adopt CEDAW

Associate Professor Sarah Goodkind is working with City Councilwoman Natalia Rudiak to encourage Pittsburgh to adopt the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW). “It allows us to examine issues of gender issue as they intersect with issues related to race and ethnicity, social class, nationality, sexuality, religion, age and ability,” she said.
