David E. Epperson Professor Shaun Eack has been named a Fellow of the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (the “Academy”). The Academy is an honorific society of distinguished scholars and practitioners dedicated to achieving excellence in the field of social work and social welfare through high-impact work that advances social good. Eack’s groundbreaking research has been in the areas of Cognitive Enhancement Therapy for Adult Autism Spectrum Disorder and Schizophrenia. More about Dr. Eack’s work can be found on his webpage. The induction ceremony will be held at the Society for Social Work Research Annual Conference, New Orleans, LA, Marriott, on Friday, January 13, 2017 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
