What is the state of Black children in early childhood and how can we promote a culture of positive racial identity, joy and affirmation in classroom, home and community settings?

Join The P.R.I.D.E. Program (Positive Racial Identity Development in Early Education) and leading experts in the field of race and early childhood as we discuss needs and strategies. If you have connections with young children, whether you are a teacher, community professional/ educator, artist, parent-caregiver or administrator, this session is for you.

This event will be moderated and hosted by P.R.I.D.E. Program Director Dr. Aisha White, with giveaways of Dr. Gholdy Muhammad’s book "Unearthing Joy: A Guide to Culturally and Historically Responsive Curriculum and Instruction" and "We Are the Change We Seek: Advancing Racial Justice in Early Care and Education" by Iheoma Iruka, Tonia Darden, Kerry-Ann Escayg.
